Kindercare - Child Care Review from Indianapolis, Indiana

They have no accounting or management skills& hire anyone to work there for low wages. Charge too much &have high summer fees. They kicked kids off the bus for *** stuff. call parents at a moments notice to get kids while the parents are at work. Have ridiculous demands. I have seen them turn kids parents away when parents come after 9:30 am because they don't have enough staff to cover the kids. Then charge them the same $.They are totally ridiculous &kneed to go out of business.

Absolutely the worst job Ive had.. This company cares about money not children or parents. Kathy the director in Tennessee daycare wouldn't even buy supplies for months.. The only time we got supplies is right before stars.. Kia the assistant director sits on her...

I agree. This comes from a kid.

I went to a Kindercare and it was torture. They segregate the children with brain problems! It's not like they chose to have brain problems!

This is like a whole new kind of racism! NEVER GO THERE!!!!!!!

KinderCare review in Indianapolis, Indiana: Unethical work conditions forced on employees

Twice as an employee with Kindercare learning center, I was forced to work while sick. I was told if I showed an effort and come to work sick, I could leave. Not true, next day went doctor, and I had shingles. A prior time, my back went out, couldn't leave, and I worked the entire day. By that evening I couldn't move, I was in excruciating pain. The working conditions are appalling working. We take care of children and we expose them to illness, because we are afraid we'll loose our jobs if we walk out sick.

I currently work for KC and can tell you I'm sharing your experience. Teachers leave frequently because of this kind of treatment.

No teachers at the center I was in were allowed to leave because they were sick. I asked 3 months in advance to take a holiday dinner off I had and I couldnt. I just wish more people knew how the teachers were treated, etc

focus should be more on educating the children instead of when they will take naps and they need more licensed personnel state does not recognize these centers as a educational facility they are nothing more than a daycare honesty needs to be conveyed to the parents...

I'm so saddened by the reviews and generalizations! While I understand that you have had an awful and quite negative experience, and I am so, so sorry- I can tell you that not ALL centers (or any branches of any one organization) are the same.

I am blessed with a great staff, amazing families, and a fabulous DM.

I run a *** good center, not even CLOSE to a "daycare" and pride myself on providing top-notch education and high-end customer service. I'm certain that experiences of parents, staff, and even management all depend on their own Center, teachers, and clientele.
