The same thing happened to this kindercare at Brookhaven in Gurnee, Illinois. A parent's car was broken into and her purse was stolen.

She was parked right infront of the doors and everyone claimed they didnt see anything. Money order payments have been stolen from several locations over here as well coincidentally the centers who don't have cameras.

Inside job? I dont trust this company at all!

Bad quality
Today when I picked up my 17 month old son at day care, Kindercare Whittier, CA, I was informed of a minor incident. I was told that my son fell after he woke up and that he hit his lip but that it was not a big fall and that his lip was little swollen. I looked at...

We were just informed by the Director of the Kindercare, Anna, located in Porter Ranch, CA, that it is Kindercarey's usual an customary standard of care they put their 2 to 3 year olds down for a 3 hour nap/quiet time on a daily basis. Although we expressed concern...

I currently work for kidnercare. the nap time is suppose to be from 1230-230.My asst.director will say that they need to be up at 230 (comes and turns lights on) because those are the rules, and both teachers should be in the room at that time.

Other times, when staff is not there yet, she will say "your kids are down. its ok. the teacher is comming. they didnt go to sleep unil late anyway (as it is 245pm)".

make sence. no. personally, if my kids dont go down until after 1pm, i let them sleep unitl 3pm on the dot.then of course i have to gently wake them. i try and keep the few children that are awake on their cot with a book, or a stuffed animal.

but if i see that they are waking up and moving around, i have to let them sit at the table ready for snack. even if it is 245 and i am by myself.smh.

KinderCare review in Los Angeles, California: Threatend, leave a regular time, would abandon children.

We were threatend by the admistrator if we didn't stay past our working time, without pay, it would be reported we were adbandoning the children. This admin. hardly ever spoke to the children. She's a "me, me, me" person with only her own welfare in sight. She is a two faced ***. These are just a few reason's I left this Kindergarten. Also, there was an incident where a caregiver in the baby room used Benadril to keep the kids quiet. I suggest any parent with a baby in Kindercare keep a close watch on that baby.

Cathy, I think that the person making the reply wanted to know which parent complained so she could get revenge and lie about her abusing the baby. There was no abuse at all, she just wanted to lie to get the mother in trouble because the mother cost her her job.

If there were two of you why could one of you not stay with the children and the other get the food for the both of you? You were accused of child abandonment because you actually abandoned the children. Glad they fired you two. What you did was dangerous and obviously you don't care about children.

Even if it was only intended you be gone for 15 minutes that is way too long. Even five minutes out of the building is too long.

What if what while you left one of those children were injured? What if fire broke out and they could not get out of their cribs? If you really think the parent is shaking the baby than why not report them reguardless of whether they complained or not.

Are you flipping crazy. you should be fired. Save us all from you, stay away from children

The reason they fired me was because I got back at them by feeding Benadril to babies to keep them quiet. I left the place of work just to get something to eat, and one of the parents complained that I abandoned the children.

I asked who it was so I could lie to CPS and say that I have fears of them shaking the baby, but my employer refused to tell me which parent reported me. I only fed tge children that Benadril to keep them quiet while I get something to eat so someone does not check up on them. They are babies, what trouble can they get into when they are in cribs, but one of the parents reported us. The person who write this letter and I were the only ones in charge of the baby room there were two babies when we left to get something to eat and we were only gone 15 minutes, which turned out to be longer since Mcdonalds was busy.

So both the letter writer and i were fired for child endangermant and child abandonment.

They are also charging us with giving the children BABY's Benadril. This location is in New York City New York.

Thanks for reading our letter.

KinderCare review in Los Angeles, California: Kinder Care

I used to work for KinderCare! They are animals there. The children were abused, not taken care of. The director was getting regularly drunk with the teacher during lunch time. I don't even know who was treated worse, the teachers or the children. Only really desperate low class people worked there. No breaks were given to employees, which is against the labor law. This place is in Foothil Ranch, CA. If yo really love you child, do not place him there. I can't believe there are places like that in United States!!! They always forced teachers to take more kids that are allowed (14 2-year olds and 1 teacher!).

"Only really desperate low class people worked there"

That would explain why you worked there.

By not reporting the abuse you are just as bad because you are letting it happen and you can depending on where you live be charged.

You are just as abusive as those commiting the abuse if you did not report. I wonder how much of this story is true.

Funny how stories about children being abused don't come up after a person leaves the company. When you work with children you can't take breaks. IT is called child neglect.

Also putting your coworkers down is kind of childish. Are you sure you are not a four year old in care of kindercare adn posting this because you got a time out?

Yes a felon in the infant room. When you enroll a child in preschool you sign a 'parents rights'contract. It explains to you that you have a right to know if anyone working at the school has ever been convicted of a crime, and if so, what the crime was. There...

I take it several people responding have felony convictions themselves.

And I am sure that you got rid of these people with felony convictions because they reported you to CPS for abusing your child.
