I recently realised that my employer ( kindercare ) changed my time card. The management is so much in control that they want to save every penny, i was so pissed that after i approved my timecard on friday my assissant director changed my time after i had gone home for the day.

I think they have done it before but i didn't catch it, .

I live in northern california . Has it happened to anyone else.

They are messing with labor laws.

I am very disappointed with the company,they are getting cheaper by the day. I hope they get sued soon.

This happened at our center too....our CD held a staff meeting and told us that we were being audited so we needed to complete our timesheets from the present back to the previous year. Coincidentally, there were two other employees besides myself that were handed a stack of old timesheets to initial and sign.

asked outright "Isn't this falsification?". By doing as asked, I was basically saying that I was given a break when I wasn't. Needless to say, I was hushed up, given the evil eye and had the AD sitting next to me, pointing where I needed to sign. We were told we HAD to do this or our center could be shut down.

Long story, short....the CD was fired a few months later BUT the AD was able to stay.

For me, the retaliation began and even going to the NEW CD, didn't help. For me, the icing on the cake came when the AD scolded one of my parents for taking up too much of my time during her Parent/Teacher conference. The AD did this in a very crowded reception area, filled with other staff and parents. My parent was of Asian descent and spoke very little English began shaking and bowing and apologizing profusely.

As I walked her out to the parking lot, she was crying.

I reported the incident to the CD telling her not to address this to the AD because I will pay the price. Within two weeks, I was given a write up over late paperwork and my employment threatened.

I told the CD this was going to happen...I turned in my resignation. I'm happy to say after almost 8 years in that horribly stressful environment, I've found another teaching position that allows growth, opportunity and the respect that we all so deserve.

Yes it has happened to me they violated my breaks and my lunches. I reported my director to human resources of course at first they denied it.

Than I informed them I was reporting them to ca labor law board and I was going to call local news on them and put it out there on all social media that they lie and steal. Sure enough I get a call from he saying they looked into my past time cards and seen suspicious activity and that they were going to pay me out. Well they did after they falsely terminated me!!!!

I need a lawyer ASAP this every one that has had a issue with them needs to get on board to file a class act against this company i the one who is fired but my director who changed my times without my consent is still of course there! This is the morgan hill kindercare stay away everyone!!!!

I worked there and always heard the CD talking with the district manager and they kept saying stuff like " we don't need her to get by so do what you can to get her to quit so we don't have to dish out unemployment" and soon realized they were talking about me I was a full time employee and got usually 38-39 hours a week but after that it dropped all the way to 15 hours one week so I transferred and ended up leaving the company as well because of management issues. I gave them a month heads up and told them the time I could work on my last day wich was 1pm.

so as I was leaving they asked where I was going and I told them home. they told me I had to stay till 630. I said I couldn't and left. they called an hour later (like I just went on break, and asked where I was.

I didn't answer) then the CD called my cell phone from her personal cell and threatened to call DCF on me for abuse and neglect.

so of course I called back and the CD ,AD and the district manager who all heard me say I wasn't coming back. said I never said anything .

Yes, that so true it happen to me also. I have seen Assistant come in at work want clock in.

She will waited until its time to approval her time and said she for got to clock in so she can get the approval put in her correct time knowing she was on 2 hour lunch break and also seem assistant ask me stop and get her something at dunking donut knowing I suppose clock in at 8:00am she said don't worry about it will put your time in for you.

Know I never report it. office always win

This is not a company issue, this is a center management issue. Please report your center director & assistant director to the corporate office.

Call HR or Payroll as there are specific policies that do NOT ALLOW this type of stuff to happen. As a director myself I know that I'd be in BIG trouble for changing any of my employees time without their knowledge & consent.

Hold your management team accountable & stop making their errors or bad habits a company flaw. Good luck & thank you.

It happens all the time At kindercare you are sadly far from the first or last person it has happened to.

Omg I need to contact you. I reported my director changing my time in April 2014 district manager said she found no time change...

Dec 3014 I was terminated prior to my termination I called human resources and informed them I was going to report them to labor law board and call the local news on them.

They looked into my claimed on time change and said they found a few suspicious activity ( go figure) I was paid for missed lunches and breaks. This place is a night made they straight falsely fired me!
