Yes a felon in the infant room. When you enroll a child in preschool you sign a 'parents rights'contract.

It explains to you that you have a right to know if anyone working at the school has ever been convicted of a crime, and if so, what the crime was. There is a teacher at Camarillo Kindercare with an "excempt" status. She was convicted of a crime, but has continued to work there.

The Center Director refuses to divulge the nature of the crime, is anyone going to do anything about this? Go to the website alwaysrightneverwong.blogspot.com for more.

I take it several people responding have felony convictions themselves.

And I am sure that you got rid of these people with felony convictions because they reported you to CPS for abusing your child.

Most likely he did some foolish things when he was younger and has learned and moved on. Would you like to still be responsible for everything you did after you learned your lesson.

I take it several people responding have felony convictions themselves. For those of us that do not, it doesn't seem like a good idea to entrust the care of ones child with someone with a broken moral compass, regardless of the crime.

They're simply not trustworthy. Sorry.

HOWEVER: I'm not sure if this same person is there (I'd be surprised), but my current experience is that the staff now is fantastic. They have clearly replaced the questionable ones with quality caregivers. I feel great knowing my child is in their care.

I'm glad they've cleaned up their act. So in summary: I am VERY happy with the current staff.

I bet you wouldn't give a *** if it was a white-collar crime. The people you should worry about are the ones that have not been convicted/caught.

The man next door, the uncle coming over to visit, the person babysitting, or just a "good" friend that you have known most of your life. In other words, stop stereotyping people because you don't know.

another thing to the nose up in the air lady, you said where are the felons working, walmart??? i dont believe walmart hires felons, not sure, and some restaurants and even temp agencies dont but i can assure you that certain banks such as chase and wells fargo do, and some other high paying positions that make more than you may ever make.

so what you are doing is also knocking not only felons, but also walmart employees, and other employees with low paying jobs by degrading them because apparently they are only fit for a felon.

and now a days you cant trust anyone, you dont know whose watching your children, so that comment was idiotic, im done now. i have said enough

if someone really wants to know what the crime was, they can go to public records, or the state correctional website if went to prison, its not that hard to find out, but its not the job of an employer to say exactly what she did, that could result in a lawsuit, thats why once again, there are public records. and for the nose up in the air lady, youre not too bright, there are felons all around you, some that would actually hurt your child, however, they are not on paper.

but because they are not, you trust them. meet people like you all the time, ohhh this person was in prison, i can never trust him, but will send their child to a church or school or certain neighbors who they think are just so upstanding and the person with the title pastor, teacher, policeman, ends up harming kid or adult, doesnt matter, a life is a life.

and you dont know what caused person to end up in prison, could have been life they had growing up where they never had chance, there are people out there now because their parents had them selling drugs at 4-5 years old, they didnt ask for that, and when they get older and want to get it together its too late because no one will give them a chance because they are already labeled. you may wanna rethink your thinking before someone does harm one of your children because you are so narrowminded

ummmmm ahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lmao

was there a background check done on this person before she was hired. if she said yes i did commit a crime during such and such year, then why would they hire her. it's against federal law to hire someone who has a criminal record.

Guest

I was going to look into sending my kid here...but nose in the air or not..obviously you dont have small children..Id be damned if they will be watching my child. You may hire felons, but where are they working?

Wal Mart?

Mc Donalds?? I doubt they are handling infants, and small children...Good to know, i will be bringing this up.

I can totally understand where you are coming from. As all felons may not be terrible people, they have shown the capability to make poor choices.

Not all felons come out of prison rehabilitated, and model citizens. It would probably raise anyone's eyebrow to see a felon interacting with small children. I would probably even question it, and look further into their background. I am a felon.

I messed up when I was 18 and got into some trouble and it has effected my life dramatically, but it is nobodies fault but my own. BUT.... Being a felon does not make me a bad person. I volunteer in the daycare at my church because I love kids.

I have two kids of my own and they are my world. Having kids has changed my life in so many positive ways.

Not all felons are bad people. Some people genuinely just make mistakes that they have to live with for the rest of their lives.

It is true that Milken is a major shareholder in the Knowledge Learning Corporation. The other major shareholder is Larry Ellison of Oracle Corporation.

Milken and his brother Greg run this "non-profit" out of offices on the beach in Santa Monica. This is a BUSINESS not a child nurturing organization.

OH MY GOD A FELON IN THE INFANT ROOM????? Get real so what did the teacher rape a kid?

Beat one to death? Expose herself to one? what was the nature of her offense? Did she/he do her/his time is she/he off of community supervision?

How does what happened in the past relate to what kind of teacher this person is? I HIRE FELONS!!!!! I am bonded and insured and have to carry extra insurance for that very reason! But lets just kill em all and let God sort em out right?

Who died and made YOU Hitler? Grow up and get your noses out of the air! People like you are the reason the crime rate, insurance rates, store prices and taxes have gone up! At least they are trying to make an honest living now!!!

would you rather put em all on welfare?

no then you would *** about having to pay their way but wait you dont want them to get a job either? GET OVER IT!!

Sorry "Irish" and "realyyyy" something is not right with the teacher in the infant room in Camarillo Kindercare, but they will not tell you what it is she was arrested for, or what the charges were. She was "grandfathered" in from the old school days when the Corporation allowed exemptions, I am still waiting for Corporate to respond to me,but they dodge my calls constantly!

WOW THIS IS TRUE!Michael Robert Milken (born July 4, 1946) is an American financier and philanthropist noted for his role in the development of the market forhigh-yield bonds (also called junk bonds) during the 1970s and 1980s, for his 1990 guilty plea to multiple felony charges that he violated US securities laws,[2][3] and for his funding of medical research.[4]

Milken was indicted on 98 counts of racketeering and securities fraud in 1989 as the result of an insider trading investigation. After a plea bargain, he pled guilty to six securities and reporting violations but was never convicted of racketeering or insider trading.

Milken was sentenced to ten years in prison and permanently barred from the securities industry by the Securities and Exchange Commission. After the presiding judge reduced his sentence for cooperating with testimony against his former colleagues and good behavior, he was released after less than two years.[5]

by the way kindercare is owned by a felon, his name is michael milken ...look it up, why should the corporation care who they hire if it is owned by a man that was the junkbond's salesman of the 80's? he stole millions of dollars from innocent people, their savings!

Guest

This is true call licensing if you don't believe it. I refuse to have my child in this school

Guest

Kindercare doesen't allow excemptions. And you have way to much time on your hands with all this info you seem to say that you have.

Guest

How do you know this teacher has commited a crime? Or is it you who is in the preschool program and is making this up because the teacher gave you a time out for hitting another child.

If the crime is minor they hire the person.

It could not have been that major crime if they hired her.

You are so nosey. If you are really that concerned about your child's safety take them out.
