KinderCare called CPS: 2 yr old "spitting"
This has been shocking for us. Kindercare called CPS claiming our daughter was "spitting" at other kids.
Ok, yes, and... let's say she was, now what? The fact is, I, as the mother was not there to prevent it. No one even told me about this.
I could not do anything about it since I did not know. If kindercare wanted to stop her from doing it, they could have, if they wished or not. Up to them. But how am I as a parent, bad?
When I asked CPS why they are even taking on such a *** case where spitting is the only thing complained about they informed me that CPS views kids that are "acting out" as correlated with "low self esteem." And, "low self esteem" in turn is "evidence" of "abuse." As a result of kindercare and CPS actions, I have had to quit my job just to take care of the requirements that CPS is putting us through.
I have also had to spends over ten thousand dollars on my attorney. I am now going bankrupt.

Typical CPS foolishness. I once got in trouble for yelling occasionally at my 15 year old son.
He was actually lost to the state for what everyone knows happens in every family. What happened to the old mission of rescuing children from true child abuse (battering)?
I'm sorry for what you've been/are going through. Sounds like a case of psychobabble. Some CPS worker with a little knowledge and a heavy caseload has her flow chart making if...if....then...a conclusion set in stone. It is outrageous that the school didn't call you in for a conference before this clusterf*** of a bureaucracy was allowed to ruin your family's life
